Why Gay Beer?
Beer brands currently rely on “rainbow retail,” in essence pandering to the LGBTQ+ community and its allies, in an attempt to connect to this powerful collective consuming base. Brands reserve this marketing tactic mostly to capitalize on Pride month. This has left consumers skeptical leaving no opportunity for authentic & ongoing brand-to-consumer connection.
Gay Beer aims to answer the question, “Why has nobody ever marketed a beer authentically to our community year round?” The Company’s ability to market its products authentically provides unprecedented access & exposure to its target market. As the power of the LGBTQ+ dollar grows, so does its demand for products that speak directly & authentically to the community & its allies. There has never been greater relevance & opportunity than in recent years to engage with the LGBTQ+ friendly consumer & momentum is only growing.
What makes Gay Beer Gay?
As avid beer drinkers and members of the queer community, Founders Jason Pazmino and Jon Moore knew they could create a product that spoke directly and authentically to diverse and progressive consumers through an approach that is currently not offered. So, in 2018 they founded Gay Beer, to pioneer change and inclusivity in the beer/beverage market. Gay Beer honors the rich heritage of the LGBTQ+ communities while celebrating the connections made through sharing a beer with the people you love. Jason and Jon created Gay Beer to start a conversation and make a connection while inviting everyone to go straight for Gay Beer!

LGBTQ+ Advocacy
Gay Beers ethos is based in building community. A portion of Gay Beer proceeds support LGBTQ+ advocacy & resources. We consistently work with and support LGBTQ+ advocacy and resource groups such as The Center, Housing Works and The Ali Forney Center, with growing potential partners & causes worldwide.
